Two weekends ago, Blaine had the week off to be in a friends wedding in Louisiana. Since I didn't know the people in the wedding really well I opted to spend the day with Blaines Aunt and Uncle and take the kids to the Baton Rouge zoo. We had so much fun. I was a little worried because I didn't have a stroller for Carter, but he took a good nap in the car on the way there and he had no problems keeping up and running around at the zoo. It ended up being a special day at the zoo with huge blow-up slides, face painting and other fun activities. Both boys had a blast and it was really great to get to spend some time with Blaine's family. Aunt Jane and Uncle Tom spoiled the boys rotten, they bought them lunch, stopped for ice cream and popsicles, took them on the train ride, and bought them little toys at the gift shop!! Thank you guys for taking us for a fun day!!

Looks like y'all had a wonderful time at the zoo and you picked a good day to go. How fun that Blain's Aunt and Uncle spoiled the kids rotten! They deserve it those cute little guys!
I love going to the zoo. It looks like you guys had a blast. I would have wanted to go down the blow-up slide. LOL Aren't my in-laws the best? They love to spoil and are really good at it. LOL We miss you guys!
