Germs, Germs go away!!

I think I may have turned Cooper into a little germ a phobe!! LOL :)  I am telling him to wash his hands and to purell them all the time.  Every morning before school we go through the whole lecture of everytime you go to the bathroom, wash your hands throughly and then when you pass the teachers desk purell your hands and NEVER put your mouth on the water fountain. And every morning he says "Yea mom, I know, I know".  Well, yesterday Carter came down with a stomach virus and Cooper determined he was not going to get it would not come within 20 feet of Carter.  When Carter took Cooper's favorite cup and drank from it Cooper about had a fit and made me wash it right away. This morning with Carter feeling a little bit better I told Cooper I had to disinfect the bathroom and get rid of the germs. Inquisitively Cooper asked what happened to the germs when I cleaned.  I told him the spray kills them and then they get washed down the drain. A little while later he came running into the kitchen very excited, and told me he had saw something in the sink.  He said it was tiny and black, smaller than ant.  I told him it probally was a bug.  "No, mom" he said proudly. "It was a GERM and I washed it down the sink"!! :)

Spring Break

For spring break we were all alone since Blaine is working alot this month with barely any time at home.  We decided to go visit family since I didn't want to be home alone, with Cooper out of school, for a week.  Our plans were to go visit my sister-in-law for a couple of day and then  make it home on Friday for Blaine's day off.  Well , on Thursday Blaine called and told us there was an emergency and he would have to work on Friday! BOO!!!!!  At least  it meant more time with my  sister-in-law and her kids(Thanks Autumn  for graciously letting us invade your  house for a week)!!!! :)  I owe you , big time.  The boys had so much  fun waking up each day to lots of kids and fun!  Autumn's youngest, that is Carter's age, woke up every morning calling Carter's name and waiting for him to wake up so they could play!!  So Cute!! Cooper and Anna Claire, who have been best buds from birth, had a blast finding caterpillars and exploring the outdoors every afternoon.  Now that we are home the boys are still asking for chocolate milk and homemade mac-n-cheese like Aunt Autumn makes. She has the best chocolate milk and mac-n-cheese in the world, or at least my boys think so!! ;)  We really had a fun time, but now we are back home.  Being home means that I will be alone while Blaine works crazy hours, Cooper has to go back to school, laundry has to be washed and embroidery orders need to be finished. I think the blues are setting in.  Blahh.... I hate to wish my life away, but I can't wait for April to be over and  for Blaines schedule to get better. Hey, I can complain every now and then!! LOL!! :) On a good note, the boys sat really still during Church yesterday for the entire hour!! I think I heard every speaker. That never happens!! Also, my roses are blooming. They are so beautiful!! I am thankfully counting my small blessings!! :)
Adam and Carter, Best Buds!
Silly faces in the car!
The whole group at the Hattiesburg zoo!
Cute Prarie Dog faces
Caymin and Carter.  She is such a big help with watching all the little kids.
All over town different groups painted swans to represent something. They had the swans on display at the zoo.  All of them were really neat, but Cooper liked the New Orleans one best.
The leopard was their  favorite animal!
Cooper's meanest Leopard face!
"A tiger is this BIG!!"
That carved tiger has been at the Hattiesburg zoo since I was a little girl and my sister would take me and her kids to the zoo some 18+ years ago!!
I know these are just random pics of Carter and Adam but they are just the cutest together!!

Easter weekend

For Easter we visited  my sister-in-law in Hattiesburg on Friday.  We went to the Grover farm, had a Easter egg hunt and let the kids play in the freezing creek (they didn't seem to mind)! Then on Saturday we headed down to Blaine's parents house and spent the rest of the weekend there (Blaine had to work the weekend and my parents were out of town, so the boys and Ijust hung out with Blaine's family for Easter). The boys loved visiting cousins and enjoyed every minute of fun time!
Carter loving the slide at the creek.
Adam, always smiling!
Cooper and  Anna Claire having a blast. Cooper waited  patiently for a friend  to blow up this whale by mouth for 30 minutes. He never left her side as she blowed it up, then he played with it for a whole 5 minutes and was done, poor Krista having to blow that whole thing up! LOL :)
Easter egg hunt time!
Every kid that picked up this tiger striped egg threw it back down. No one wanted to keep it. They just didn't believe it was an Easter egg. LOL! Carter also picked it up, gave it a weird face and  threw  it back down.
Cooper was proud of all his eggs!
Easter baskets stuffed full!
The boys had  just gotten out of bed, when I told them to come see what the  Easter bunny left them.  They were very excited!

Carter's favorite thing in his basket was his Thomas coloring book.
Cooper loved his new book and took the time to read it to Carter!
Cooper and Emily all dressed up!
Carter man!
Ready for an egg hunt. Carter fell asleep right before we hunted eggs so Emily and Cooper got to find all the eggs all by themselves!
Handsome dude!
Pretty Princess!

So many eggs... So little time...

For playgroup I hosted a Easter party for all the non-school age kids!  I think we had 15 kids and they were SO excited to look for eggs!
Woohoo, I  found one!

Cutie Emma!
She found the golden egg!

Easter egg loot!

Yummy Goodie cups!
I had to add this pic, because it was just the cutest of little Hannah eating all by herself after all the other kids had  ran out the door to Easter egg hunt! She knew where  the "Goods" were! She could eat all the yummies  without anybody bothering her!! :)
