Carter Talking

Carter is talking up a storm and so I have been trying to capture it on video. I finally got a few videos of some of his most used words. He is so cute and funny when he says O-kay! It is almost with a southern twang! Watch and get a few good laughs!

We LOVE Visitors!

The past few weeks we have had visitors every week! I am not complaining, because I love having people come and stay! It is so much fun having somebody to do things with and to entertain the kids. A couple of weekends ago Blaines brother and his wife (Darren and Katie) came to visit. We had a fun packed couple of days including a cookout and a trip to the mall. Then last week Blaine's dad drove through on his way home from a work trip in Tallahassee FL. He stayed the night and the boys had a BLAST playing with their papa! They were sad to see him go! Then this week my sister-in-law and my sister came down with all of their kids and we took a trip to the beach! It was the first beach trip of the season, and it was so much fun! So if anybody wants to come and visit let us know! We welcome you with open doors!!!

A little pink please!

Lately I have been having the "I am the only girl in the midst of 3 boys" blues. Every where I look there are boy toys, boy clothes, boy shoes, and enough pee on the toilet seat to drive any women crazy! LOL:) I feel a little out numbered, when it comes to which movies to pick, what restaurant to eat at or what toys to play with. Cooper and Carter always side with their daddy, because daddy is a boy and boys are cool! ENOUGH ALREADY!! So today I had to add some pink to the mix! I decided to make some summer dresses for Emily (my niece) and they HAD to be pink and girly! I only got one finished today, but more are to come. Making girly things did the trick. It certainly brought a little color to my sewing room and lifted my mood. Cooper walked in as I was sewing the dress and he made a funny face and said "that better not be for me, because pink is NOT for boys"! So Angel be looking in the mail, because Emily is getting some new PINK dresses!! :)

Cooper's ART CLASS

Cooper LOVES art, so we decided to put him in an art class. Cooper has been taking the class at the Mobile Museum of Art, since last September. He really likes going and being with the older kids. The class consists of 4 year olds - 8 year olds. He is one of the youngest in the group. He has had a few problems learning to sit still and to raise his hand, but he has really learned alot and it has really helped with his social skills! At home we display his art proudly and encourage his creative thinking. On Tuesday he had his last day of art class until the summer session starts. The parents got to come and look at the kids artwork on display then the kids got to stand in front of everybody and tell about their art. Afterwards they had a party for the kids honoring their great job! It was alot of fun!

Cooper really likes his art teacher! She is very patient with Cooper!

Spring Weather

We have been having GORGEOUS days here this week. Everyday the kids wake-up, eat breakfast, get dressed and head out the back door. We pulled out the kiddie pool and have been soaking up the warm sun while playing in the water. We also have been having dinner outside, enjoying the perfect evenings! I love the spring weather here in Mobile!!!!
