A little bit of everything

Blaine teaching Cooper to play Chess. He actually learned pretty quick and even beat me in a game. :)

Lucy has learned to pull her bows off her bow hanger so she can chew on them when she is getting dressed or changed on the changing table.

Carter showing off his super hero Valentines he helped make for his gymnastics class.

Lucy gets super excited when I turn on certain cartoons on the T.V.

Exploring

Lucy is now crawling like a pro and is getting into everything. She LOVES exploring her new environment and puts everything she finds into her mouth.
Only problem, two big brothers who seem to drop every little thing on the floor for her to find. So after two choking scares she is now confined to the playpen if I can't watch her every move. Poor Lucy! Don't worry, I do let her explore but only if I can keep a close eye on her.
Exploring the house
She loves watching the boys out the window!
Trapped! At least she is a good sport when put into the playpen and will entertain herself for a bit with her toys.

Love, Sweet Love

February is the month of love and my house looks like a huge heart exploded inside!  The boys and I did a lot of DIY Valentine crafts to decorate the house with since I was the host of our Bunco group this month. The boys had a blast decorating but I think Blaine is super ready for the decor to come down. Lol :)

Lucy looking so cute in her Valentine outfit I made her.
Kisses for Lucy from Henry!
The kiddos helping me with a Valentine door Hanger. It was a mess, but the kids had fun.

My crazy decorated house ready for Bunco night.

Tissue paper creations. Cheap, but cute!

Crawling

Lucy is officially a crawler. She is still slow moving (thank goodness) because my house is definitely not baby proof.  Although proud of baby girl for figuring out this new skill, I wish she would have stayed my cuddly baby for a bit longer. She no longer is just content to sit on my lap but instead wants to stand up with help or be put down to explore. She now can follow me into the kitchen or pull up on the couch to see what is going on. Her wanting to pull up on everything is driving me nuts because she is still not 100% steady so she tumbles backwards from time to time. I have to watch her constantly. Whenever the boys see her pulling up on something they immediately rush to her to catch her in case of a fall and say "I 'll save you Lucy"! It's really sweet.

She thinks she is so big now that she can crawl into the kitchen and pull up to get toys off the couch.

Big Brother

Lucy's world pretty much revolves around me and Carter. We are the two main people she hangs around with most of the day. She loves her momma for the obvious reason (food source, duh LOL) but she loves playing and being entertained by Carter.  He makes her smile and laugh and always tries to calm her when she is upset. Now that Lucy is more mobile, she is super nosy and tries to get into whatever Carter is doing. Here are some cute pics of their daily interactions!

Climbing over Carter to play with his toy.
Pulling up on the couch to see what Carter was doing.Eating Carter's hair. Lucy has an obsession with Carter's hair. She loves to grab it in her hands and rub it between her fingers or chomp down for a mouthful of it.

One morning I put Lucy in her crib while I was getting ready and she threw a fit about being left in the crib. When I returned to get her I found Carter in the crib with her trying to calm her down. So Sweet!!!!!!
