Cooper is so excited to go to Kindergarten this year! Every morning while Carter is in the high chair eating breakfast, Cooper makes sure we have "SCHOOL TIME"! We learn new words, practice writing the words, review colors, letter sounds, shapes and numbers. He loves it! His favorite part is that he gets a treat if he remembers his new word for the day and writes it correctly! Everyday couple of days we add a new word to his list of words. We tape them to the side of the cabinet so he can see them throughout the day. Every day I mix up the list and he has to read the words, then we make a sentence out of the words and he learns to read the new sentence. He thinks it is all a game and really loves doing it. If I forget to do it in the morning he makes a point to remind me to not forget "SCHOOL TIME"!

That's right he is starting school this year! He is so grown up. I love the video. He looks so proud of himself. What a great idea you have come up with. I will have to try that when the time is right for Kaia. Hooray for schooltime! =c)
