We went to the Gulfshores zoo, last week, in efforts to enjoy the last day Blaine had off before he started work. It was very hot, but the kids had a blast. There were plenty of lions, tigers and bears to be seen, but the kids had no interest in them. Instead they wanted to spend the whole time at the petting zoo area with the donkeys, sheep and goats! Carter who has really shown an interest for animals, just couldnt get enough of the goats! He was literally climbing out of his stroller to touch the animals!
Cooper was a bit more cautious, as always, and wanted dad to help him feed the animals. He mainly let Blaine feed them but he gave the instruction

We had a blast and nobody wanted to leave, but we finally got everyone to the car with the bribe of ice cream as soon as we saw an ice cream shop. But as expected before we could even get onto the highway our two boys were fast asleep in the back seat!!

Fun! I love the zoo. I am sure we will be making tons of trips there once Matt is off for the summer. I am glad you guys are enjoying your new home.
