Easter

We had a fabulous Easter at Blaine's parents house! Last minute Blaine was able to get away from work and enjoy much needed time with family. The kids had so much fun that they are counting down the days till they get to live in RedStar and spend endless amounts of time with Papa, Grandma, and cousins! Although I still have not managed to get a good picture of all 3 kids or the whole family I managed to get a few cute ones of the kiddos!

Sad Day

Our sweet, energetic dog ( Henry) passed away last night. The kids are heartbroken as well as Blaine and I. We have so many wonderful memories with Henry. He loved running, playing frisbee, and playing catch with the boys. He was a wonderful guard dog and always tried to protect his family. He was a really good dog and the kids LOVED him especially Lucy. Henry was so gentle around Lucy and they both would get super excited to see each other. He will be greatly missed.

 

 

 

Wicked Mom

I get one day a year to be a wicked mom! Hehehe!!! On April 1st my prankster side comes out and the kids better beware! I love the fact that my kids are little, very naive and not able to prank me back!!! I am sure they will make up for it when they become teenagers, at which that point I will have to beware when April 1st rolls around. For now though I will enjoy my one day to be the prankster and the wicked mom!!! :)

Here's how the morning played out.....

Sweet dreams while I painted their faces so lovely!

"What the heck happened to your face Cooper?" Carter's exact words when he woke up and saw Coopers face!! Lol :) To which Cooper replied

" My face? Your the one with blue all over your face. Did you sleep with a marker in your bed last night!!!" I was trying so hard to keep a straight face as they figured out what happened. :)

Still not quite sure how they got marker all over their face, Cooper says oh well and goes to the potty where he quickly discovers a fake roach and Saran wrap on the toilet. Aghhhh... He screams!!!!! He finally makes the connection at that point and realizes its April Fools day!

But wait moms tricks aren't finished yet, when they got into the tub to wash off their faces I had put blue kool- aid in the shower head. They loved the blue water and it even smelled like blueberry (bonus points for mom)!!!

Last trick of the morning! When the boys got out of the tub and started looking for clean underwear they got a surprise when they looked up and saw them on their ceiling fan!! :)

FUN times!!! I love pranking my silly boys!!!!

 

A day with Cooper

For the last few days Blaine has been home sick. He was so sick that they actually sent him home from work (that's a first!).Then on Friday Carter came down with the sickness also, so on Saturday I was able to put Lucy down for her nap and leave Carter in the care of Blaine and get some much needed mommy time with Cooper. I took Cooper to his baseball game, where he got 3 hits and his team won, and then took him to an Easter party where he got to enjoy mom all to himself. I had a blast with only one child to worry about. It was a much needed break for me, but it was also super nice to get to enjoy the afternoon with just Cooper!! Love that kiddo!!

Random

Ok, so my pics aren't of great quality lately. Sorry. Our camera bit the dust, so i've had to pull out our old point and shoot for now. Along with the camera, our computer, our garage door, the boys toilet, our dishwasher and our blinds in the living room have all seemed to have decide to quit working properly. Blah.... I think it is a conspiracy since we are trying to get ready to sell the house. ;)

Carter man got a haircut. It always amazes me how much he seems to have grown when I cut his hair! Do you see those aggravating blinds behind him, yep stuck in that position. They won't go up, won't go down. Grrr....

We've had gorgeous weather lately, perfect for stroller rides! Lucy gets so excited when she sees me pulling out the stroller.

Sunday outfit photoshoot! She is getting harder to get pics of because she wants to eat the camera every time she sees it.

Favorite spot! The window seal has become her favorite spot to hang out. She loves to watch Henry and the boys playing in the backyard.

 

Two little teeth

 

After weeks of being extremely fussy, runny diapers and a low grade fever, Lucy finally got her first two teeth! She looks so different with her little teeth poking through. She has used them on occasion to snap down while nursing or when a finger gets to close to her mouth. The boys learned the hard way to NOT put your fingers in Lucy's mouth! Ouch!

 

A little bit of everything

Blaine teaching Cooper to play Chess. He actually learned pretty quick and even beat me in a game. :)

Lucy has learned to pull her bows off her bow hanger so she can chew on them when she is getting dressed or changed on the changing table.
