Kiddos....lately

This one LOVES Legos! He has been saving all his money and spending it on new lego sets. We are about to run out of room for them all.

This one (the one in the bean bag chair) LOVES to read. He has been stealing/borrowing his brothers chapter books and reading them for hours.
This one is just plain silly! She keeps us laughing. She wore her winter hat and her Mr. Potato Head glasses around all day! :)

I love these crazy kids!!!

Doll furniture re-do

Blaine's great aunt recently gave Lucy some old doll furniture that was her grand-daughters many years ago. They were old and dirty but they were made of solid wood and she thought I could fix them up. They had been sitting out in the barn for 20 plus years. I was so excited to get to work on them, that I started right away and finished them the next day. Lucy loves them and I think they turned out fabulous!

Before and after shots

Two cans of spray paint, 1 yard of fabric, 2 packs of upholstery nails, an old pillow I cut open for stuffing and several hours of work later, voila total transformation!

More Pinterest projects

Nesting and Pinterest are seriously not a good thing together. Lately every Pinterest project I find needs to be finished NOW! It's one of those pregnancy compulsions where all common sense goes out the window and you don't care if the kids get fed as long as your project gets done! Lol :) Here are a few of my latest Pinterest projects that are now marked off my to-do list.

I know you've seen the Pinterest tutorials on how to turn a mans T-shirt into a women's T-shirt and the Pinterest post of monogram pocket t's. Well, since I LOVE wearing Blaine's t-shirts right now but wanted something cuter I decided to combine the two ideas. I love this shirt and have wore it for two days in a row now. I NEED to make more. Seriously comfortable. (btw: Cooper has become my personal pregnancy photographer, since no one else is ever here to take pics for me. :) He really does a good job! Maybe he has a career in photography in his future!)

I found these canisters at Dirt Cheap for a couple of bucks and love the way they turned out with the vinyl lettering!

I made the board for hanging the kids art work awhile back, but I finally got around to doing the vinyl lettering at the top. It really does complete it!

A simple project, but it made a ton of difference in the way it looked. I have had this knife block for forever and it was just plain ugly. So I spray painted it and added a vinyl letter. Not so ugly anymore. :)

A t-shirt dress for Lucy. This was such an easy, fast sewing project and cheap. Literally I just cut off the t-shirt an inch or so under the arms and sewed fabric onto the bottom with elastic around the waist part. Best part, Lucy loves it!

29 weeks

Growing belly! Could it be possible that I am going to deliver a 10lb baby? Lol:) No such luck! Oh well, I am just going to chalk it up to this being my fourth baby and that I have no muscle tone left in my stretched out belly. ;)

Hapari swimwear

I love my Hapari swimsuit!!!! I've had it for several years and would really love a new one for post baby this summer. If you have never checked them out please do at www.hapari.com. Their tankinis are modest (long tops) have awesome colors and designs and have fabulous hidden features to make them fit just PERFECT for every body type!! My favorite is the tummy tuk bottoms for those post baby bellies and the chest inserts for those of us who are left with saggy socks post baby nursing! LOL :) Now go here and enter to win one of your own! Also, subscribe to her blog, she always has really good reviews and giveways! Good Luck!! http://www.newlycrunchymamaof3.com/3/post/2013/04/get-cute-yet-modest-swimwear-from-hapari-plus-giveaway-428.html

This is the suit i am drooling over! I might have to just break down and buy it!

Easter fun

Just a few pics of some Easter fun. The boys dyed eggs and had a small egg hunt with cousins on Saturday. Then Saturday night Carter got sick with a stomach bug so Easter day was spent dealing with a sick boy. The boys were excited to get a basket from the Easter bunny but after a night of Carter throwing up neither boys wanted to touch the candy. :( Lucy didn't have a problem with the candy though!! :) I love the last pic of Carter when he picked up his chocolate bunny and I asked him if he wanted to take a bite. The look on his face shows exactly how he felt after being sick all night. Poor guy!
